Camper shopping

I am so excited about this: We are looking at campers to buy and here are examples of what we want:

This wee cutie is a 1985 VOLKSWAGEN T25 Transporter Autosleeper Conversion. Pop top is appealing and it seems so compact and reliable. It's currently being auctioned on ebay.

This little beaut is an original 1974 VW Westfalia Camper
imported from California. It looks really cool and apparently will only appreciate with time since it's such a classic. We would bring this back to NZ if we bought it, it is so cool. It is on ebay and currently being auctioned, hasn't met reserve at 3000 euro.

This White ambulance looking thing is also very cool, a 1992 Leyland 400 DAF 2.5 turbo diesel engine and comes complete with everything including 2 mountain bikes and a Honda CUB 90cc motorbike with 2 helmets. Interior is blue crush velvet, nice. For a mere sum of 3000 sterling, bargain!

How exciting! The green VW has the most charm, and would be an incredible bargain if you got it for E3000...

Thereis a reason that old VWs are now cheap. They WERE once the bee's knees for the flower power set but these days are better know for expensive repairs & maintenance.

They are not cheap to run given that they use petrol, an expensive commodity in the EU.

Try a modern diesel powered machine, they will also have a decent electrical system!
